My Daddy has been a pastor for 58 years. 54 years ago my brother was killed, we used Warred and Bohlender then. My dad as a Pastoralways referred people to Bohlender. When my Dad passed unexpectedly, July 2026 outside of Colorado we contacted them immediately. As always they helped. They brought my daddy's body back and helped with the service they provide. Gary Bohlrnder was outstanding as always. My dad worked with Gary and senior Bohlender for 54 years. They treated our family so kindly and went over and above to see our wishes were met. If you’re in the area and need this service look them up. Tell them them Pastor Park S sent you. They are honest, fair, respectful and so professional. Our family will never use any other funeral home. It is in times like these, when you are hurting, confused you need people you can trust. A very special THANK YOU to Gary who has continued to carry the outstanding reputation of the Bohlender name. Gary, our family was honored to have you by our side. I'm not surprised that Bohlender Funeral Chapel has only 5 star reviews. I'm personally leaving a 5 star review because Bohlender Funeral Chapel provided excellent, professional service. Our baby passed away and we needed help with the cremation of his ashes. I called a few funeral homes that were recommended by the hospital and after calling all 3 we decided to go with Bohlender and I'm glad we did. I spoke to Kristin Bohlender who is the owner and she is so kind, warm and had such a comforting voice. She was very helpful with the process and helping me understand the next steps. I spoke with several staff members over the course of coordinating the ashes being sent back to me as we do not live in Colorado and everyone at Bohlender is all so nice, helpful, warm and caring. They all really care about what they do and they do it with such gentleness, professionalism, especially with such a delicate matter. I've coordinated with other funeral homes in the past when relatives of mine have passed and I think Bohlender is the best. I HIGHLY recommend them. Boehlander mortuary took care my husband Don Sanchez’s funeral service with great respect and dignity. Gary and staff followed my aunts wishes for beautiful service. Gary greeted my aunt with condolence also remembering that he helped her daughter’s funeral 2003. My aunt was touched by his memory.

This is a response to a review made about Bohlender Funeral Chapel a month ago regarding the services provided by Bohlender Funeral Chapel for my brother, Edward Paul Gavaldon. On behalf of my brother and the Gavaldon family, I assumed financial responsibility for retaining services of Bohlender Funeral Chapel after my beloved brother’s passing on December 15th, 2025. Therefore, I signed the agreement / contract for the services provided by Bohlender Funeral Chapel on December 15th, 2025. The services provided by Bohlender Funeral Chapel were done professionally, successfully, and according to my directives. This included the cremation of my beloved brother and the return of his remains. At no time did Bohlender Funeral Chapel deliver my beloved brother’s remains to a non-family member. The services by Bohlender Funeral Chapel were successfully completed months before my brother’s estate was open and his children made personal representatives. I cannot say enough nice things about Kristin and her team at Bohlender! We are from MN and our father passed in a tragic ski accident in CO. She was so wonderful that we did not even talk to a 2nd funeral home and I am very happy with that decision. While I hope to not need their services again in the future, I would highly recommend them.

On May 3rd of this year my beloved brother passed away, Tommy Scott. The Bohlender family and especially Kristin Bohlender was wonderful helping me with the arrangements. This funeral home is very caring and considerate with your loved ones and I would definitely recommend them. Truly God Bless them with helping me in such a difficult time.
